This course aims to demonstrate that a company’s growth no longer depends solely on its internal capabilities, but is increasingly influenced by external factors.

Consequently, Operations Management—and, more specifically, Supply Chain Management—has become a strategic approach to achieving end-to-end coordination among all stakeholders involved in the flow of goods, services, and information.

Supply Chain Management can be defined as the art and practice of delivering the right product, at the right time, to the right place, in the right quantity, at the lowest possible cost, and to the right customer.

Supply Chain Management provides the tools and concepts required to identify, analyse, and redesign physical and information flows across production, procurement, inventory management, purchasing, and distribution. This course develops cross-functional competencies that enable students to better understand the emerging challenges faced by future managers. Particular emphasis is placed on implementing an integrated approach to Supply Chain Management by progressively connecting the company’s upstream and downstream partners—suppliers and customers—in order to enhance overall performance and create value.
