Descriptif
This course provides an accessible introduction to how the European economy works and how European integration shapes business and economic activity. It examines the development of the EU and its institutional architecture, the Single Market, EU trade policy, and the coordination of monetary and fiscal policies within the Eurozone. Throughout the course, students connect these foundations to contemporary challenges such as competitiveness, geopolitical tensions, the green and digital transitions, demographic change and economic inequality. By combining economic concepts with current data, policy debates and group research, the course enables students to critically assess how European policies affect firms, citizens and Member States.MAC
