This course explores your competencies that contribute to effectiveness at the individual, team, and organizational levels. Although skills in areas such as finance and accounting are crucial for organizational success, the ability to manage an organization, its groups, and its individuals is equally important. Success in your careers will depend on your ability to accomplish tasks, goals, and projects that in turn will depend on how well you work for, work with, and lead as well as manage others. The goal of this course is to prepare you to manage self, people, teams, and organizations. We will focus on (a) “macro” or organization-level issues of leadership, including structure, strategy, systems, and culture, (b) team-level or collective issues, including interpersonal constructs such as power, persuasion, leading teams, coaching and mentoring, and (c) micro-level or individual issues such as leading other individuals and yourself.Organisation pédagogique
