LEARNING GOAL 1 : Students will master state-of-the-art knowledge and tools in management fields in general, as well as in areas specific to the specialized field of management.

Students will identify a business organization’s operational and managerial challenges in a complex and evolving environment.
Students will understand state-of-the-art management concepts and tools and use them appropriately.

Descriptif

This course aims to help students mastering the principles and strategies in Supply Chain Management, especially in an international business context. After learning this course, students are supposed to understand the importance of supply chain management to a company that holds international supply chains or facing an international market. Furthermore, students are supposed to be capable to analyze the challenges and difficulties related to supply chain issues and give proposition of solutions. An overview of the terminology, fundamental concepts, and tools encountered in the field of international supply chain management will be covered, especially international logistics, global sourcing, and digital SCM. The course uses the following organization: teacher’s lectures, industrial expert’s lecture, case-study analysis, in-class presentations; after-class academic papers lecture, and e-learning. The evaluation methods will be the exam, personal participation in class and in teamwork.
